A Quick note

Capturing a sign at 100KPH....  on a windy, rainy day....

Just a quickie this evening.  We crossed into Canada yesterday with no issues and very few questions.    Both Frodo and the little white turtlevan were easily welcomed at the border.  Whew.  I’ve never gone through the border with a camper nor with a pup.

We drove along the coast and landed in St. John, New Brunswick.   God provided for us more than once in very obvious answer to very specific prayer the past few days.  God is good.  All the time.

It was so good to be in a place where people smiled, greeted us, and engaged.  It’s been a while since we found that, other than with National Park folks.  The woman at the Costco service desk saw us walking out with our Caesar salad and roast chicken, remembered Jerry from his request to stay (she’d gone out of her way to make our stay happen), and wished us a good night, then said, “Welcome to Hotel Costco!”  Ha. A pleasure to be here with Canadian joy.

Tonight we’re in Nova Scotia.  How cool is that?  We battled the wind all day, found a campground that wasn’t open after all, filled our propane, and settled on a splurge night in a pet friendly Comfort Inn.  Showers. Internet. Coffee and light breakfast in the morning that we didn’t make ourselves.  Even news if we choose.  Whoa.  Living the life.

On to Cape Breton tomorrow.  I’m sure there will be plenty of photos in the next days.  Just don’t know when I’ll get them posted.

 Blessings and love to you.
XOXO
